FAQs
What is Sap’s made of?
Sap’s foundational ingredient is coconut water powder because of its' mixture of minerals and nutrients your body needs. Additionally, Sap's is packed full of other plant powered and functional ingredients that help you feel your best. Not included are artificial additives, preservatives, and unhealthy sugar/high fructose corn syrup you normally see in sports drinks. Sap’s is a holistic approach to your general well-being unlike any other sports drink
Why is the balance of electrolytes in Sap’s superior to other drinks?
The amount of electrolytes in Sap’s is formulated with peak functionality in mind. The counter balance relationship our electrolytes have is essential for your body to fully experience the benefits they bring. It’s like the chemistry you see of a really good sports team - each player playing their specific vital role for maximum effectiveness. For more details, be sure to check out our ingredients page
Why is sugar needed?
Don’t be fooled by “zero-sugar” alternatives. In order for the process of sodium-glucose co-transport to be activated, the drink needs just enough sugar to help move electrolytes rapidly to your bloodstream. We made sure to use the healthiest sugar possible (i.e coconut sugar) to ensure our drink works as effectively as possible, without all the downsides of added sugar.
What are Adaptogens?
Adaptogens are plant and mushroom extracts that help your body deal with stress. These natural ingredients help restore your body back to balance. They also boost immunity and overall well-being. Research shows adaptogens can combat fatigue, enhance mental performance, and ease depression and anxiety. We included them in Sap’s to help your physical and mental well being.
When should I drink Sap’s
It’s made for everybody, everyday. For best results drink cold when you are dehydrated and need a boost.
Why is Sap’s more hydrating than water?
Our blend of electrolytes replaces what you lose when sweating, exercising, or just going about your day. Specifically, salt (or sodium chloride) is essential for rapid rehydration. As the saying goes, where salt goes, water flows.
What does Sap’s taste like?
Sap’s is a great balance of not too salty, but not too sweet (like every other sports drink). We use subtle flavor profiles to ensure it is smooth and crisp. Unlike other sports drinks, Sap’s doesn’t have a bad aftertaste that makes you want to drink water.
How long does it take to feel the effects of Sap’s?
Give it about 30 minutes to feel like a new you.
How many Sap’s can I drink in a day?
Consuming Sap's is based on need or how dehydrated you are. There is nothing in Sap's that is going to hurt you, but you probably won’t need more than 3 cans a day. It’s simply not necessary unless you are losing significant fluids due to illness or intense training.
